NorthShoreofLongIsland.com: This season’s bitter winter, with temperatures so cold that Northport Harbor [Long Island] had turned to ice, has delayed a $1.75 million town project to reconstruct Woodbine Marina in Northport Village by 2 months.

The project is now due to be completed by May 1, said Ed Carr, the town’s director of maritime services, in a letter he wrote to marina slip holders on March 3.
