Bug-like marine creatures are showing up at Rhode Island beaches and disgusting swimmers, according to an article on ProvidenceJournal.com.
The creatures are described as reddish-brown and resembling baby shrimp. According to reports, they have shown up in huge numbers from Sachuest down to Westerly. They are believed to be crustacean isopods, which pose no threat to humans, but can be really creepy.
