The Mayflower II could sail home through the Cape Cod Canal to its spot on the Plymouth, Massachusetts waterfront as soon as Wednesday morning (August 7, 2013), according to an article in the Cape Cod Times.
The replica of the Mayflower has spent the last 8 months in dry dock at Fairhaven Shipyard while undergoing major repairs.
