CapeCodOnline: One sure sign of winter’s approach is a pickup truck full of cold-stunned sea turtles.
On Wednesday afternoon [November 28], several of the chilled reptiles were riding shotgun with Dennis Murley, who was happy for the company at Sandy Neck Beach.
“Almost everything we touched today is still alive,” said Murley, a naturalist at the Massachusetts Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. “This might be our big day of the year.”
