Don’t miss the Lake Champlain episode of New England Boating TV, airing on NESN at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013.

A beautiful Burlington sunset!

A beautiful Burlington sunset!

In this episode, the NEB crew trailers their Boston Whaler 250 Outrage to western Vermont and the shores of New England’s Great Lake. They launch first in downtown Burlington for a look at the boating scene in this lively city, which offers great launch facilities, marinas, transient accommodations and a protected harbor. There’s also some good fishing for lake trout nearby, as Parker and Tom discover.

Next stop is North Hero, on the Inland Sea, where the crew base-camps at the cozy North Hero House. From here they check out a local island campground, visit the Ladds Landing marina and the Hero’s Welcome store, do some tubing and waterskiing with the local pros, and even get a personal demonstration of some Adirondack Guideboats with company founder Steve Kaulback.

It’s another action-packed episode you don’t want to miss!
