Seacoast Online: Conservation groups will likely face off with anglers and sportsman at a public hearing this week in the New Hampshire House on a bill that would expand the ban on lead fishing sinkers and jigs put in place to protect the state’s loon population.

The Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee will hold a hearing on the proposal Thursday [April 25].
