Block Island Times: A 10-year-old saga was scheduled to end on Tuesday, July 30 (2013), but the [Block Island] Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) did not make a final vote on the efforts of Champlin’s Marina to expand in the Great Salt Pond because a member suddenly walked off the stage and refused to vote.
When CRMC member Jerry Sahagian refused to vote, the council did not have a quorum of 7 members.
A meeting to take a vote has not yet been re-scheduled.
