The Hour reports that Norwalk, Connecticut, fishermen and boaters are concerned over the current disrepair of the Norwalk Harbor Visitors Dock and launch ramps following the recent dredging project, which apparently damaged some of the wooden infrastructure.

Rick Mola, owner of Fisherman’s World tackle shop, doubts that the launch ramps can be repaired by the start of the fishing season in April.

City officials disagree over the degree of damage caused by the dredging, but have requested $75,000 in capital funding to design new launching ramps for fiscal year 2014-15.
