The Hour is reporting that Norwalk, Connecticut, officials are advising coastal residents to make plans to evacuate their homes and find shelter for their vehicles in advance of the record flooding that is expected to begin during the high-tide cycle late Sunday night.

The impending storm is expected to produce record coastal flooding over 4 high tide cycles from midnight on Sunday, October 28, through Tuesday noon. The flooding is forecast to be higher than Hurricane Irene and higher than the December 1992 nor’easter.
