PressHerald.com: Three companies have submitted proposals to operate a ferry service between Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and New England, according to the Nova Scotia government.
Portland is a leading contender to be the U.S port. The Nova Scotia government is offering $21 million over seven years to subsidized the start-up costs of the service.
