Photo of an oil sheen, courtesy Fedral Energy Regulatory Commission. An oil slick near The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk does not appear to be related to the Island Belle which was jarred across Norwalk Harbor during the height of Hurricane Sandy, according to officials.

The Norwalk Fire Department dispatched its marine boat to the area of The Maritime Aquarium on Wednesday morning [October 31], after aquarium officials reported an oil slick on the harbor.
