The Connecticut Marine Trades Association reports that the Old Lyme drawbridge was experiencing mechanical issues as of 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013, just a day after it was announced that the bridge was fully back in service following scheduled repairs.

The 90-year-old bridge is used by Amtrak trains to cross the Connecticut River.
