CapeCodOnline: A family of 4 was rescued off the Provincetown breakwater Saturday night [June 1] after one was injured on the rocks.

The harbormaster’s office deployed two boats at about 7:00 p.m. to end of the breakwater closest to Wood End, Harbormaster Rex McKinsey said.

The breakwater is made of large rocks that run for more than a mile between the rotary at the west end of Commercial Street to the dunes and beach between Wood End Lighthouse and Long Point Lighthouse.
