CapeCodOnline: In reaction to an unflattering audit of the harbormaster’s office, the selectmen and members of the Provincetown Public Pier Corp. agreed Monday [April 29] that the job of harbormaster as it now stands is too much for one person.
But their agreement on this point stands in sharp contrast to the widely diverging reactions to the audit itself, which criticized Harbormaster Rex McKinsey for failures of record keeping and enforcement on the waterfront.
