A team of researchers recently descended on Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, to study invasive species and plants that are crowding out the region’s natives, according to an article in the Providence Journal.
Since 2000, invasive species expert James Carlton and a group of biologists return to locations throughout New England every three years to study the progress of invasive species.
