Rusty nails, left over from a town bonfire last autumn, have been found to be littering a beach in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, according to an article on CapeCodTimes.com.
A bonfire at Bass River Beach during the town’s Seaside Festival last October (2013) burned wooden pallets. But those pallets left behind hundreds of rusty nails, many of which are still scattered along the beach.
