As reported in TheDay.com, students, faculty and staff participated in the 16th Annual East Lyme High School Cardboard Boat Challenge on Wednesday, January 11.

Each year, students in the school’s Engineering and pre-Engineering classes build and race cardboard boats as part of their coursework. The students are required to construct a boat using only cardboard and duct tape and complete one lap of the pool.
