Closed after a recent shark sighting, Cape Cod’s Nauset Beach is now attracting a new kind of beachgoer — one there not to swim in the water or soak in the sunshine, but rather to catch a glimpse of one of the ocean’s great predators.
On Sunday (June 9), a lifeguard spotted a dorsal fin 150 yards offshore, forcing the closure of the beach. Now, reports the Boston Globe, many “shark tourists” are flocking to the beach hoping to spot a shark.
