People who work with seals in Maine don’t need to see any viral video to know the state’s waters have sharks. They see the evidence all the time.

According to an article in the Bangor Daily News, animal care technicians at the University of New England’s Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center often encounter Maine seals with shark bites. And, they say, contrary to popular belief, the water off Maine is just fine for great whites.
