Portland Press Herald: A delegation of scientists and industry officials from Japan is visiting the University of Maine for a 3-day conference on tidal power.
The 11-member group is attending the Marine Energy International Symposium, which runs Monday through Wednesday [September 18]. The conference is designed as a collaborative exchange between researchers in the Maine Tidal Power Initiative, which is based at the university, and various Japanese institutions.
