The Block Island Inshore Fishing Tournament, held September 14 to 16 and hosted by Block Island Fishworks and the Narragansett Inn, saw over 40 anglers fishing in various divisions.
Nine-year-old Dylan Blackburn led the field with a 26-pound, 2-ounce striped bass, which won the youth division and overall best fish. The tourney raised $1,600 for Island youth activities and the National Children’s Cancer Society.
