The New Haven Register is reporting that government and environmental organizations will hold a Twitter discussion about Hurricane Sandy’s effects on the health of Long Island Sound’s wildlife and shoreline ecology today (Friday, November 9) at 2:30 p.m.

Participants will include Connecticut Fund for the Environment’s Save the Sound program, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Connecticut Sea Grant and the Connecticut Audubon Society.
