The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a $2.6 million contract for a dredging project in Wells, Maine.

According to an article on DredgingToday.com, Southwind Construction Corporation, of Evansville, Indiana, will do the dredging of Wells Harbor. Construction is scheduled to start on or about October 15, 2013 and take about 2 to 3 months to complete.
