CapeCodOnline: The lighthouse painters rolled over the sand, past the giant dead turtle and the epic driftwood sculpture, all the way out to Wood End Light.
It was a caravan that carried only 1 color.
“All white paint,” painter Bill Jenkins of Cotuit said. “The brightest you can get.”
Jenkins, chairman of the Cape Cod Chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation, and about a dozen other volunteers from the organization mixed, poured, scraped and brushed in a painterly ballet at Wood End on Tuesday [October 23].
