NH Boater Rescues Swimmer

SeacoastOnline.com: A teenager swimming in [New Hampshire’s] Piscataqua River on Monday [July 7, 2014] got caught in a current and was rescued by an unknown person who was boating in the area at the time, according to Police Chief Ted Short.
First responders received an emergency call at 1:30 p.m. Monday about a young woman stuck in a river current off the Dead Duck boat ramp, Short said. When police, fire and ambulance crews arrived, the teen was onshore, conscious and alert, he said.
