August 3, 2016
The New Hampshire Boat Museum’s 40th Annual Alton Bay Boat Show will be held on Saturday, August 13, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Alton Bay Public Docks on Lake Winnipesaukee. This is an informal, non-judged vintage boat show open to all antique and classic boats. No advance registration is necessary. There is no cost to enter a boat or to attend the show as a spectator.
Watch the Lake Winnipesaukee episode of New England Boating TV featuring the New Hampshire Boat Museum.
For spectators, this is a great opportunity to view some of the most beautiful boats on Lake Winnipesaukee. Attendees can vote for the People’s Choice Awards, given to the top three entries. The boat show is part of a number of activities taking place in Alton on August 13, Alton Old Home Day.
Typically seen at the Alton Bay Boat Show are iconic brands such as Chris-Craft, Lyman, Garwood, Hackercraft, and Century. The boats range in style from Runabouts, Cruisers, to Triple Cockpits.
