NH Issues Thin Ice Warning for Lakes

SeacoastOnline: New Hampshire’s Fish and Game Department is urging people to use caution before venturing onto lakes, some of which have unsafe ice conditions.
The department said this winter’s above-normal temperatures have affected ice formation, particularly on large lakes such as Winnipesaukee, the state’s largest lake. A recent aerial survey showed some areas of open water on the lake.
