November 9, 2012
Inquirer & Mirror: The powerful nor’easter that ripped through the region Wednesday night [November 7] flattened the historic barn on the grounds of the Old Sconset Golf Course, also known as Skinner’s, owned by the Nantucket Land Bank.
The storm also beached 4 sailboats in Monomoy, The Creeks and on the Francis Street Beach, left a scallop boat underwater and damaged the Town Pier and the floating dock at Jackson Point in Madaket, harbormaster Sheila Lucey said.
