NYYC Race Week at Newport Kicks Off

While the America’s Cup World Series has been packing up to leave Newport, a new group of world-class sailors has been moving in to prepare for the next 2 weeks of competition during the New York Yacht Club Race Week at Newport. The competition is split into 3 sessions, with race courses on Rhode Island Sound and Narragansett Bay.
Race Dates:
- July 14-15 – Classics, 6 Metres, Herreshoff S-Boats and 12 Metres
- July 18 – Around the (Conanicut) Island Race for all classes
- July 19-22 – Handicap and One-Design Fleets
