Paddleboat Too Big for Norwalk

The Hour: An impressive vessel, the 600-passenger Mississippi paddleboat, The Island Belle, is sure to catch the eye of visitors crossing the Stroffolino Bridge into South Norwalk.
But watershed regulators say the 110’, 3-story vessel—owned by Westport resident Ken Hart—is too large for Norwalk Harbor as it extends 12’ into the Federal Navigation Channel.
