Passenger Vessel Grounds in Boston Harbor

The passenger ship Majesty run by Boston Harbor Cruises ran aground off Georges Island in Boston Harbor at around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, with no injuries reported. Responding to the scene were the Coast Guard, the Boston Fire Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
The Majesty was safely refloated on Sunday morning at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The incident is under investigation.
