Prospec Electronics Stereo Fits in Tight Spaces
March 9, 2011
Prospec Electronics’ new Milennia MIL-PRV15 Stereo features a control head that fits into a 3″ gauge opening or even a cup holder, making it ideal for small boats with limited mounting space. The compact marine stereo also features AM/FM radio, USB and Aux-in for connecting portable media devices.
In most cases, installation of the MIL-PRV15 doesn’t require a new cut-out, making it ideal for retrofits or OEM applications. For those without a free gauge or cup holder space, a 3″ hole-saw can be used to create an opening for the control head.
The stereo operates at 4 x 40 watts and features a solid-aluminum chassis, as well as IP-66 and ASTM 117 salt fog ratings. The MIL-PRV15 has a depth of 1 5/8″, not including wires, and an outer diameter of 3 1/2″.
