Remains Identified as Missing CT Kayaker

The Milford Mirror reports that human bones located in May 2011 in front of the Army Engine Plant on the Housatonic River in Stratford, Connecticut, are the remains of 22-year-old Michael Krupa, who disappeared 3 years ago on a nighttime paddling excursion to Charles Island, in Long Island Sound.
According to the Mirror, Krupa disappeared September 6, 2009, around 2:00 a.m., after he and a friend capsized in a 2-man kayak behind Charles Island. The other man managed to swim to a boat, and alerted rescuers that Krupa was missing.
