Concord Monitor: Until Spencer Bennett was 10 years old, he had never seen his father get angry.

It was 1957, and Bennett was standing next to his father, Carl, on the family’s front porch in Henniker when federal agents came to the door and told the family a chunk of their farmland would be seized by eminent domain for the construction of the Hopkinton-Everett Flood Control Project.
