Reminder: New Regs for Striped Bass, Bluefish in 2020
May 1, 2020
Recreational fishermen in New England are reminded that there are new regulations affecting the size and number of striped bass and bluefish they are allowed to keep in 2020.
This season, anglers may keep one striper per day, within a slot size limit of 28″ to less than 35″.
The recreational daily bag limit for bluefish has been reduced to 3 fish per day, with no minimum size limit.
Recreational anglers fishing from a for-hire vessel (charter or party boat) during a for-hire trip are limited to harvesting and possessing 5 bluefish per day.
