Rescue Boat Launched by Newburyport, MA, Builder

From the Newburyport Times: The shipbuilding tradition in Newburyport is not dead, and Response Marine Inc. and Viking Welding & Fabrication LLC can certainly attest to that.
The 2 companies, based respectively out of Newburyport and Seabrook, just finished a 9-month collaboration on a 30-foot, customized fire and rescue boat costing more than $400,000. The boat will eventually find its home on Lake Wylie, N.C., with the Charlotte Fire Department’s Station 38.
