With its versatile dual-console design and unsinkable hull, the Boston Whaler Vantage 270 combines performance, comfort, function and style. The boat comes fully equipped to handle everything from leisurely cruising to family watersports to fishing.

One of the most notable features on the Vantage is its convertible portside lounge seat, which folds into a variety of positions so that passengers can ride facing fore or aft, partially or fully reclined, or even use it as a leaning post for fishing. Indeed, well-cushioned, spacious seating is found throughout the boat, while the high freeboard and the dual-console design offer good protection from the elements, as well as security.

WhalerVantage270_3The Vantage offers a host of fishing amenities, including a lighted live well, transom-mounted rod holders and raw-water washdown station. Watersports enthusiasts will appreciate the sports tower and tow-arch options, and the optional beach boarding ladder makes it easy to climb aboard. The Vantage’s ample storage will hold lots of gear, clothing, toys and accessories, keeping the deck clean and uncluttered.

Standard propulsion is provided by twin Mercury 200 Verado 4-stroke engines. Top speed is 50 mph, according to the manufacturer’s data. With that same power, fuel burn is 16.9 mpg at 4500 rpm and a speed of 34 mph.

Vantage features another amenity that boaters will appreciate: a spacious head. This is due to the offset walk-through to the bow, which allows for a larger portside console and roomier head compartment. Vantage also offers multiple canvas options to protect passengers from the sun, including a Bimini top for the sports tower; a sun top with boot; port lounge and cockpit covers, and even a weather curtain set with side curtains.
