RI’s Herreshoff Museum to Offer Navigation, Seamanship Classes

RI Yachting.com reports that Herreshoff Museum educator Richard Feeny will be teaching piloting and navigation classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings at the facility’s Bristol, Rhode Island, campus at 17 Burnside Street.
The 5-day, 10-hour workshop will use Chapman Piloting and Seamanship as the primary textbook. Students will be taught the skills of plotting courses and bearings on provided charts with parallel rules and dividers also provided.
