RI’s Lavin’s Marina Should Open in May

The Barrington Patch: Lavin’s Marina on Bullock’s Point Cove should open for business again by May 1. New owner Joseph Ruggiero of Barrington bought the marina on Shore Drive from longtime owner Bob Lavin last December for $2.3 million.
Ruggiero, owner of commercial developer Ruggiero Properties, is spending another million dollars to dredge the cove, install a new bulkhead of fiberglass vinyl seaward of the old timber bulkhead, and build a new boat ramp, he said.
