Rye, NH, Advised on Handling of Seal Carcasses

Seacoast Online: The town [of Rye] has received guidance for handling seal carcasses that wash up on town beaches in light of last year’s avian flu-related die-off of harbor seals.
The New England Aquarium, in a letter received September 13, outlines the precautions town officials should take when handling and disposing of marine mammal carcasses and the ongoing monitoring of the flu virus.
