Sailor Rescued After Capsize off Nantucket

Nantucket Inquirer & Mirror: A 65-year-old man was pulled from 40-degree water Friday afternoon [April 7] after he capsized in a 10’ sailboat in Nantucket Harbor by the cut in the east jetty.

“He was wearing a lifejacket and that probably saved his life,” U.S. Coast Guard Station Brant Point Boatswain Mate First Class Peter Caires said.
