Sailors Break Conanicut Island Circumnav Record

A new record was set for the Mount Gay Rum Around Jamestown Record on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.

Sailing aboard the 32’ Marstrom, Bronco, Anthony Kotoun of Newport, Rhode Island, circumnavigated Conanicut Island in 1 hour, 13 minutes and 17 seconds, beating the previous record by 34 minutes, 7 seconds.
