Sailors for the Sea Seeks Sustainability Director

Newport-based ocean conservation organization Sailors for the Sea is looking to hire a sustainability director to support development and implementation of the nonprofit’s core programs. Start date is December 2015.

 

Responsibilities: Manage the Clean Regattas program; help plan and attend quarterly board meetings; contribute content to the website, monthly e-newsletter and social media; coordinate with social impact, stewardship and education colleagues.

Qualifications: College degree in sustainability, science or science education; knowledge of the sailing and boating communities; ability to travel as required in the United States and overseas.
