Sale of Marina at American Wharf Approved

The sale of the Marina at American Wharf in Norwich, Connecticut, could go forward by September 30. That’s the scheduled closing date for the sale of the city landmark to a Plymouth, Massachusetts, financial services executive who hopes to continue operating the marina as well as revive plans for a hotel, convention and banquet center at the city waterfront.
Gary F. Joyal, chief executive officer of Joyal Capital Management LLC, announced in July that he had entered into a contract to buy the marina from the estate of founder Ronald Aliano for $750,000 under the name JCM Norwich Marina Acquisitions LLC.
