Save The Bay’s 37th annual Swim was jeopardized when Naval Station Newport was informed by the Department of Defense that it would not be able to host the start of the Swim due to federal sequestration. Fortunately, Save The Bay was able to come up with an alternative course, and the Swim will be held Saturday, July 20.

The new triangular course will start and finish at Potter Cove in Jamestown. The course length will be identical to the traditional 1.7-nautical-mile route from Naval Station Newport to Jamestown.
