Search for Missing Boater off Wood Island, ME

CapeCodOnline: Crews aboard a HU-25 Falcon jet and MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter joined a boat crew from Coast Guard Station South Portland, Biddeford police and a Maine Marine Patrol in the search for a possibly missing boater off Wood Island, Maine, this weekend.
Wood Island is in Saco Bay, off the coast of Biddeford. There is an active lighthouse on the island.
The search began when a person found an inflated yellow lifejacket on the eastern side of Wood Island and an overturned orange kayak-type craft was later discovered onshore.
