Shark Cam Gets Close to Cape Cod Great Whites

An article on CapeCodOnline chronicles the use of the REMUS underwater camera by shark researchers off Cape Cod. Dubbed “shark cam,” the REMUS is a 5’-long underwater vehicle that follows a tagged great white shark as it patrols its territory.
Researchers Greg Skomal and his team have been using the device to gather important data on great white behavior on the Outer Cape, which could end up saving lives one day.
