Sheffield Island Opens for 2012 Season

TheHour.com: Norwalk Seaport Association (NSA) kicks off its summer season this weekend with the opening of Sheffield Island on Saturday, May 26. The island is home to the 144-year-old Sheffield Island lighthouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Seaport Association’s ferry will operate on May 26, 27 and 28 at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and every weekend after that through September. Daily trips will be offered starting on June 25.
