A slight sheen of oil covered the water’s surface Monday afternoon (July 28, 2014) as United States Coast Guardsmen, private cleanup crews, fishermen and heavy equipment operators worked to raise Demi Lynn, a wooden fishing boat that sank at its Warren, Rhode Island berth Sunday morning, according to an article on EastBayRI.com.

The 40’ fishing boat, owned by Bristol resident Manuel “Butch” Perreira, sank at its Warren Town Wharf berth some time overnight Saturday into Sunday, coming to rest on its port side.
