South Shore In-Water Boat Show a Big Success
May 5, 2012
For those of you who want to relive last weekend’s South Shore In-Water Boat Show, or those who want to see what they missed, here are some photos of the festivities. Overall, the show, held at the Hingham Shipyard Marinas in Hingham, Massachusetts, was a big success—thanks in large part to the great weather—according to many of the exhibitors and management.
“Our 4th Annual In Water Show was a big hit!” said Hingham Shipyard Marina Manager Cherie Rudzinsky. “The marina sold about a dozen slips, boats were sold and vendors were successful. Met a lot of new boaters, which is great to see for the industry. Great energy all weekend!”
Jack Kent of Bayside Marine in Duxbury saw lots of interest in the Grady-White and Pioneer models he brought to the show, and offered this feedback: “Very good enthusiastic crowds. The attendees had plenty of boats to look at and fun events for the kids. A must-do for next year.”
Sea Tow South Shore owner Ethan Maas also had a booth at the show. “We [Sea Tow] love a local boat show and this one is great; it’s a chance to chat with many of our local customers. Our Lifejacket Loaner program was a hit too; many families and children borrowed our PFDs to walk the docks and check out the boats on display.”
